How Wits calculates APS
Wits uses an 8-point scale with bonuses for English and Pure Mathematics (up to 10 points each). Life Orientation is included using a separate 0–4 scale and must be at least 50%. Faculty must be selected.
Tip: Because English and Pure Mathematics receive bonus points at Wits, strong performance in these subjects is especially valuable. Mathematical Literacy is not accepted for Science, Engineering or Health faculties.
