How many subjects are included in the Wits APS?
Unlike many other South African universities that only look at your top six results, Wits calculates your score based on your best seven subjects. This total includes your six main academic subjects plus your Life Orientation result.
How does the bonus point system work for English and Mathematics?
If you achieve a percentage of 60 percent or higher in either English or Pure Mathematics, Wits rewards your performance by adding 2 bonus points to that subject. This means an elite score of 90 percent in Math actually gives you 10 points toward your total.
