Please select your school quintile status before doing anything else. After that, enter your subject percentages. NMU uses an Applicant Score (AS) based on your 6 best subjects (out of 600). One of your language subjects must be English. Life Orientation is excluded from the total but provides a +7 point bonus for Quintile 1-3 students who score 50% or higher.

Nelson Mandela University (NMU) uses the Applicant Score (AS) system. Unlike other universities, NMU uses your raw percentages for your six best subjects to determine your score.
Your percentage is your point value.
